i lived in Japan for three years and my favorite food was "coco-ichi's." i was curry and it was just really good food really cheap. i was going there four times a week for about a month. it was really good stuff.

Sauce. White sauce and Ginger sauce. Love it on salad and rice.

i LOVE, tekka makki, salmon teriyaki, different sushi rolls, and ton katsu. oh! and tempura is great. and so is udon noodles. and sashimi!

Soba (buckwheat noodles) - thinner, darker color than udon - served cold (zaru soba) with a dipping sauce (sliced green onions, wasabi, raw quail's egg).

Cold soba is my must-have basic in a Japanese restaurant to go with other favorites: prawn tempura, sashimi, etc

I have quite a few. Udon, ramen, cold soba and chawanmushi.

Tempura, Agedashi Tofu, Chawanmushi, Cold Soba, Udon, Sushi and Hand rolls.

Tempura, Takoyaki ball, yakitori & sushi !!!
