What about do you think "slow food"?!

Question:

What about do you think "slow food"?

Answers:
Slow down. Have a good artisan meal comprised of real old world artisan products and good quality food. Spend time enjoying it. I love the idea of Slow Food.

As a Chef, I wish the world would come around to the "Slow Food" movement. I get tired trying to satisfy people who want to order and get their food in 10 minutes, and scarf it down in 5 minutes. I get tired of having to use products that are produced in mass factories just so I can keep the price of your meal under $20. You get what you ask for.

"Slow Food" is an attitude towards life that Americans are missing out on. It shouldn't be expensive. If there were enough people making good food, it wouldn't be expensive.

I do agree with the first post. If we don't nurture the art of sustainable artisan food, it will be lost and we will be lost because of it. The real cuisine of Mexico was almost lost due to the influence of America on the culture, but if you look real hard, you will see people who are dedicated to preserving the old world methods.

Important to survival.

Many things that we humans do in modern society displace us from our connection to the planet we are part of.

Slow food is part of what it takes to get back in touch with being part of rather than upon this earth.

It is a cool idea, just a very expensive one and out of reach for the average person.

For many of us a $20.00 meal is a once in a blue moon treat.
