What kind of spices do they put in Fajita that makes it smell so good?!

Question: What kind of spices do they put in Fajita that makes it smell so good?
In the mexican restaurants, the chef always put really nice spices that brings out a really good smell. What is it?

Also, what sauce goes with fajita? I know you add cheese and salsa sauce. what are the white and green thing?

Can you add parsnip instead of chicken for vegetarian option? Or any better vegetarian solution? I know you add red and green pepper and onion.

Parsnip for chicken? Possibly - parsnips have a tendency to take on the flavors of things around it. It certainly will not replace the texture of chicken

Fajitas are pretty much a southwestern tex-mex staple that have a ton of ways to create.

Up on the top of the list (as to what makes it smell good ) are the spices.

Cumin, garlic, onion, etc make the spice very aromatic! It's just so easy to go to the grocery store and buy a canister of fajita seasoning. But for the curious - here's a simple/basic fajita season that you can make on your own

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp. Chili powder
1 1/2 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Dried oregano
1/4 tsp Black pepper
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 tsp Onion powder
1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes

I am from south texas and what we add here is a spice called lemon and pepper. You will probably find it where the spices are. We use orange and pepper but I doubt that you will find it because it is locally made unless you are from way down south in texas. Oh and in order to get that good taste it needs to be made in a grill, outside grill.

Cumin is what makes Mexican and Spanish food smell good.
Salsa is the sauce - some is red, some is white, some is green.
Parsnip? No, use tofu, potato, or a mix of fruit.

Cumin and coriander (mexican parsley)

BORDAR SAUCE.

Taaco bell

lime, cumin, even some paprika

lawry season salt
