Who knows what this thai noodle soup is?!

Question: Who knows what this thai noodle soup is?
I grew up eating this noodle soup which I know how to make, but don't know what it's called.
It's based on chicken broth cooked with anise seeds and you don't season it but flavor it with vinegar with jalapeno peppers in it, chili paste, fish sauce, and garlic oil. The noodles used can be anything but usually the thin wide noodles, and garnished with steamed broccolis.
My ex-uncle, who is thai, used to make this but I never learned its name. Anybody out there who knows what this is called?

It is called bamī nām or ba mee. If it chicken is the main meat, it's called "ba mee nam gai". If shrimp is the main ingredient, then its "ba mee nam googn". Ba mee nam means wheat floured based egg noodle in liquid or noodle soup.
