Does anyone know what this "chinese" food is called?!


Question: Does anyone know what this "chinese" food is called?
Its like a white stringy type of noodle. Its usually in the chinese buffets and its very very thin. Its a bright white color and its so so delicious.

If it's bright white, then it isn't cellophane/ glass noodles, those are usually clear ( from mung beans). The white kind are rice noodles (vermicelli). The off-white kind used in chow mein are egg noodles.



I think you are referring to what I 've heard called cellophane or glass noodles



Those are rice noodles. And yes, they are delicious!
