Candy with Lead?!

Question:

Candy with Lead?

I've seen 3 lists of the candy with lead, but do the watermelon ones with chili have lead too? I didn't see it on the list but I want to make sure...the one I have is called "Sandias" from "Beny". Should I stop eating it altogether?

Answers:
Lead in any form is unsafe for human consumption. It is illegal to produce, import, distribute or sell foods containing lead in the US. The Food and Drug Administration does a great job of keeping unsafe food off the grocery store shelves. So, unless the candy is subject to a recall it should be safe to eat.

Yes.It could be dangerously poisonous!
