i cant believe we are not being told by companies that they serve or sell Halal meat without us being told.It is our right to know as it is a person who as an Allergy to nuts as a right to know whether there are nuts in food.I eat meat but feel i have the right to eat the meat that as been killed the most humane way.what do you think

Experience

Would it upset you as much if they said it was Kosher? Or is it more a matter of how the animals are slaughtered?
Any butcher can prepare Halal meat. They just have to be trained in the proper way to do it and have some Imam train them. In the Kosher and Halal slaughterhouses in the USA the majority of the workers are non-Muslim Hispanics from South of the border.
Halal and Kosher meat is more labor intensive to prepare. I don't think it will become cheaper than the assembly line killing of animals we non-Jewish or Muslim types eat.

I don't see your point. I don't see Halal meat being cheaper since there isn't really a large demand for Halal meat.

Also, I don't see how non-muslim butchery jobs can be lost due to Halal meat consumption.

Lastly, I don't believe we are being served Halal (or Kosher) meat without being told since I don't see restaurants purposely seeking out Halal meat.

There are plenty of halal butchers, it's up to you to find them. Google my friend.

Worked in butchery for 6 years.

religion and killing animals is wrong, go have a nice salad sandwich and stop believing in **** that doesn't exist
