Indian spiced corn recipe?!

Question: Indian spiced corn recipe?
I live in the UK and we have an Asian/Indian shopping area nearby. I always stop off at a little corn trolley which is always there, who sells steamed corn which is spiced and then served in a plastic cup. I know Lemon Juice is added but does anyone know what kind of spices these types of stalls use as I want to make some myself as it's very tasty and good for you.

2 cups corn (makai ke dane)
6 pcs garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp butter
salt to taste

Method

First grind up garlic pieces with red chilly powder.add some water to make a paste
Spread the paste thoroughly on corn seeds
Heat a pan, add butter, salt, lemon juice
Cook for a minute. and serve hot.

mexican recipes is similar to it, it called corn in cup in english, streamed corn in cup, top it with lemon juice, spoonfull of mayo. and chili powder and little of mexican cheese

No big secrets here..
Fresh lime juice, salt, ground hot cayenne pepper, ground black pepper

I like to add some Ajwain (Carom) also. If you have no Ajwain, try Oregano leaves
