ok firstly that vid is scary lol, anyways, no that's not how halal meat is delivered in fact no meat is allowed to be delivered like that! the person in that vid was obviously violating some rules or laws? meat is supposed to be hanged up on some sort of hook...there's a halal butchery not far from my house and always when they deliver, the meat is up on hooks in the back of the truck.

Most meat is made of dead animals, yes...

I admit to being a little baffled that this comes as a "surprise" to you, did you imagine that as a beast is slaughtered, it magically transforms into cutlets and steaks and rump roasts each individually mounted on styrofoam trays & lovingly wrapped with cling-film labeled "Waitrose" or "Sainsbury's"?

Meat is meat. Halal meat is typically transported unrefrigerated because Muslims (and Jews) have strict rules about how long an animal can be dead before it gets eaten (not very long at all), whereas typical Westerners like their meat to be "aged" four to six weeks (to allow the enzymes to begin to 'break down' the fibrous bits) before they will eat it, so it requires refrigeration to avoid it getting truly stinky.

How have you survived in a world where you apparently learn so little about what is going on around you?
