What is the best recipe for making Channa Daal?!
I need a good vegetarian recipe to something worthy of being served in an Indian restaurant. The ones I've tried have been horrific.

There are 2 versions of chana dal preparation - one with very less or no spices and another spicy version which definitely tastes delicious on special occasions or when you want to have "restaurant style" food.
