why is halal marking on food products or products not fit for christian to consume?!
What is Halal ? ( ????, ?alāl, halaal )
In Islam, beside prayer and other religious activities, eating is respected as a matter of worship of Allah.
In Arabic, Halal (also sometimes spelled halaal) is a Quranic word meaning anything that is ‘lawful, legal, licit, legitimate, permissible, allowable, permitted, allowed, admissible, authorised, unprohibited, unforbidden or unproscribed or acceptable to all aspects of daily life and betterment of social context.
For a food or drink product to be approved for consumption it must conform to the Islamic dietary laws as specified in the Qur'an, the Hadith (sayings) of the Prophet Muhammad, his Sunnah (tradition) and in the Fiqh (understanding) of the Islamic Jurists : Hanafi, Shafi', Maliki and Hambali
? Classical hadith specialist Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani says that the intended meaning of hadith in religious tradition is something attributed to Muhammad, as opposed to the Qur'an.[5
? In Shi'a Islam, the word "Sunnah" means the deeds, sayings and approvals of Muhammad and the twelve Imams who Shi'a Muslims believe were chosen by Muhammad to lead the Ummah—the world Muslim community.
? Fiqh deals with the observance of rituals, morals and social legislation in Islam. This includes how to perform the ritual purification (Arabic: wudu) before the obligatory daily prayers (Arabic: salat).
? The Hanafi (Arabic ??????) school is one of the four Madhhab (schools of law) in jurisprudence
Muslim of sound mind who understands fully the fundamentals and conditions relating to Halal and be approved by the religious authorities.
Islam prohibits the meat of animals that are slaughtered without reciting the name of Allah and those that are slaughtered whilst pronouncing a name other than Allah. Mentioning the name of Allah during slaughter is actually a way of seeking permission from God for taking the life of the animal for the sole purpose of sustenance. The prohibition to recite a name other than Allah during slaughter acts as a safeguard to a Muslim’s faith. Islam is a religion which promotes monotheism and rejects any form of polytheism. Mentioning a name other than Allah is regarded as a polytheistic act, thus such act is not permissible during slaughter.
Marketing Slogan for entrepreneur to be affiliate to Halal tradition.
“Remember, Halal can be eaten by non Muslims, however Muslims will only eat Halal Only.”
“Be HALALPRENEUR Eat HALALICIOUS”
Remarks:
“That halal can be eaten by non muslims, however muslim will only eat halal only.”
? The first part maybe true but not absolute truth..
? Why do i say the first part of the sentence is not a absolute truth. I am a Christians, believe in the bible of what it have to say about food that have been offered to other god other than God the Father who send his only son Jesus to save the world.
? The Bible doesn’t allow food to eaten by the Christians that have been offered to other god, prayed for, give thanks for or any form of ritual as a sign of worship and offering to other god.
? Christian will have sinned before God the Father almighty creator of Heaven and earth. Especially if the Christian know that this food have been offered to, or any rituals of worship for other god.
We are not condoning the business of having the halal marking. But it is my Christian duty to make it known of the consequences of the accepting and consuming of such food with marking of halal for the Christians.
It is not the intention of this letter to make a comparison of Faith or religion. This letter serve only to Christian so they may know the facts before them.

Christians Faith prohibit us to consume any marking with “Halal”
Really?
Why is that?
The Jewish, Christian and Islamic god is the same god... Did you know that?
In other words, same meat and same god.
In Mark 7:14-23 Jesus tells us that nothing we eat can touch our souls. Christians are permitted to eat any food at all. Halal, pork, you name it.
Christians don't care if they are transgressing Muslim law...we are not Muslim so their laws don't apply to us.
You do realize it's the same G-d with a different name, right?
Christianity and Islam are both branches of Judaism, as Avraham was the first Jew. Avraham had two sons, one with Sarah Imenu and one with her handmaiden, Hagar (Ishmael). Ishmael's descendants became the first Muslims. Avraham's other son, whom he had with Sarah Imenu, Yitzchak (Isaac), was the father of Yaakov (Jacob), who fathered the 12 tribes of Israel. Then Jesus probably came along and was a prophet, he was Jewish, too.
Halaal's like the Kosher of Judaism. Just not as strict.
A Muslim could eat kosher food, but a Jew most likely could not.
It's the same G-d.
Personally, I believe that we are ALL sons and daughters of G-d, not just Jesus. I'm not saying Jesus didn't exist, he probably did... As a prophet, like many other Jews in the Torah. (e.g. Moses, Devorah, Pinchas, etc etc.)
If it really bothers you that much, don't eat it.
I'm Jewish
I feel very sorry for you
but I think you have twisted the facts
first at 70 Y.O. I know of nothing from the christian Bible to prohibit any food
There are excerpts from the Old Testament but that is Jewish rules from the Torah
where 2000 years ago food poisoning was a very serious problem
most Christians continued to follow ( voluntarily)
The koran and the other books came around 500 A D (sorry - a copy or maybe plagiarisms of the books and letters of the day
you are spending far too much energy (stress) on this food issue
There are 165± religions I am sure some or most have food guidelines from empirical information - - For sure God did not dictate any restrictions (it is always has been some Man who said god told him ) - - (View the world - not just the muslim and Jewish nations that predate the written word)
Remember Nicene - - - it had nothing to do with God only the written works of the Religious LEADERS - - (rich learned political people of the time) in fear of the people
good luck my friend

Halal is prepared to strict code of conduct by people whom have converted or are Muslim. Halal food has Allah's name on it, and the person taken his name. Not taking Allah's name and eating it is practise of transgression.
Thus being Christian and eating it though perfectly good food, is transgressing Muslim law.
