Apertif: locally made dry sherry + goat cheese

First course: fried calamari

Second course: paella

All served with baskets of warm, freshly made bread and lots of the local white and red wines.

Thanks for inviting me!

I would start with a nice bowl of homemade chicken tortilla soup and for my entree I would order chicken and steak fajitas with corn tortillas and lots of spicy salsa! I would also enjoy a couple of top shelf margaritas!

If we are a grp of close friends, I will order an appetiser that we can all share. Like maybe a nacho platter. And perhaps a bowl of soup each.

For the main course i will order food like fish steak, chicken fillet, or steak. Anything tt is easy to eat. I wun order things like seafood where u will be so busy with the shells and miss out chattign with ur frds over dinner.

And some nice good dessert to end the evening,

Question for you. Were we invited to a freinds house OR to eat at a restaurant?

At a friends I would eat what they served.
At a retaurant it would depend on the type of place, (American, Italian, Mexican, Mediterean, French ???)
