How many slices of bread is needed per bowl of soup ?!

Question:

How many slices of bread is needed per bowl of soup ?

i reckon between 4 and 6 but is there a law/guide as to how many ?

and if it makes any difference its heinz tomato soup

Answers:
I reckon you are close. 3 to 5 is my estimate.
It depends if you are dipping the bread or soaking it in the soup.
Obviously soaking would consume less bread.
I have never heard of laws or guides pertaining to this subject.
Maybe the government could introduce bread usage tax!!

i usually have 4 slices but half them so it fits into the bowl haha

Sliced bread 2 - 3 but if it's like nice chunky farmhouse bread that you slice yourself - unlimited.

I would say 2. Anymore than that and I'd feel like a great big fat pig.

I normally have three and toast them. Either chunky bread or bread rolls are nice for dipping though.

I'd go for 4. Rip the crusts off and eat them first, then make a start on the doughy bread.......

half a loaf if hungry....

I couldn't have more than 2, maybe 3 if they're small.

Two, but they have to have lots of butter and they have to be sliced white; this is the ideal combo for Heinz Tom.

i normaly have 2 but the other night i had 4.pure greed

with heinz tomato soup the law requires that you have two slices of white bread and a good size chunk of strong cheddar cheese
