well i have ate ostrich (im not kidding), but its when i traveled to africa, it was made into a mutton. i do believe it is a exotic food though because you dont see it throughout most of the world. coming from california.... i have NEVER seen ostrich meat here EVER.

Probably to some people.

I know i consider exotic food things i never see on menus in normal resteraunts, or menus at fast food places.

Yes in a way it is rather exotic. I would suggest that also it was an alternative dish as not many people can say they have ostrich dishes.

In countries that have Ostrich as an indiginous speciaes. NO!
There are 1/2 Farms in the UK but it is a rare dish here so yes Exotic.

In south africa, it is quite normal to have an ostrich steak on the menu. There are hundreds of ostrich farms in the country, they're like cattle almost.

Well I guess!! Look up "exotic dishes" in the dictionary and there is a picture of an Ostrich.

In Texas we have Ostrich farms and eat plenty of them. Good eatin', yeeee doggieh!
