Schnitzel is just a meat cutlet usually breaded and fried. There are different types: Jaegar schnitzel, wienerschnitzel, kalbsschnitzel, huhn schnitzel,

Grie?.... it will be Grie?kl?schen --- translated semolina dumplings. They are added to elderberry soup, cherry soup, beef soup, chicken soup. So it is impossible to identify your soup by Grie?kl??chen.
How to make a Wiener Schnitzel. Beat an egg add a little bit salt and pepper ( I add also a teaspoonful of tarragon - but that is not original) Dip the meat in all purpose flour (not selfrising!)
that makes the egg stick better to the meat. Then dip it in the egg and at last dip it in bread crumbs. Then fry it.
PS: The Austrian word Nockerl used by LukeKain is identical to the northern German word Kl??chen used by me. ( I am from Hamburg).
@LukeKain: I have never heard the word "Nockerln" in Bavaria but in Austria (Salzburger Nockerln). There are similiarities in the language of Bavaria and Tirol but that is not astonishing for at the end we are all Germans.
Its called "Grie?nockerlsuppe"
Schnitzel is very easy and cheap to make just google it
@rio-blanco
