What is the french dish "moules de pays"?!

Question: What is the french dish "moules de pays"?
I need to know what the french dish of "moules de pays" (with "frites") is. I know moules is mussels and frites is fries, but does the "de pays" mean the mussels are spcially prepared? Any help would be appreciated!

Moules de pays means clams from the country where one would eat the mussels.
Each area of the country / pays will have a different way of preparing them.
Usually moules/frites are in Belgium, of course you eat them elsewhere.

Liz gave a bit of a complicated expression. The expression is actually DU pays. Moules du pays means the specialty of the region.

Like "plat du pêcheur" "fisherman's dish" (in a restaurant)

pays describes a place.
