According to the linked article below, Halal meat is very difficult to get in Sao Paulo, and very expensive. A good alternative is Kosher meat. I have read that Kosher meat is also considered fine for Muslims, and I've even read in the Koran where it said something to that effect. I bet the packaged Kosher meat, if it is imported at all, is also branded Halal. I have bought a lot of meat that is branded BOTH Kosher and Halal, and both of course have a rabbinical/priestly seal of approval. Get your Kosher/Halal meat from:
