You can get them from sellers on ebay or amazon. Just make sure to check out their feedback to make sure they are legit. I bought some from a seller named jellyjj, they arrived in 2 days in excellent condition, and were definitely real bhut jolokias (I have eaten quite a few and grow them). He was even nice enough to send me pods from an isolated group of plants so I could save the seeds (isolated to prevent cross pollination). He also included a bonus fatali chile, an excellent tasting chile from Africa which is about ~60% the heat of a bhut jolokia. It is probably in between habanero and bhut jolokia in heat. Unfortunately he has no listings at the moment but if you get a seller with good feedback you should be ok.

You could also try www.chileplants.com, they ship live chile plants all over the country and are a very reputable greenhouse that specializes in chile plants and has probably ~100 varieties of plants for sale. I remember reading in the spring when I bought some plants from them that they sell fresh chiles in the fall, starting in September if I remember correctly. Their website appears to be down at the moment though, so I can't see what they have for sale right now.

A third option, go to www.thehotpepper.com and kindly ask someone to sell you a pod. It is a large forum full of very knowledgeable chile growers who are very nice and generous. Many of them have way more bhut jolokias than they can use and would likely be happy to send you one if you ask nicely and cover all the shipping costs.

Do not trust eBay for these peppers. Too many people have been burned! You can get fresh ghost peppers from The Ghost Pepper Store. They sell them de-seeded but they are fresh and and as whole as you are going to get. They must have a pretty high demand though, they are sold out at the moment.
