Question:

What is the name of a flavored liquid that is pourn over a dry cake?

I MADE AN ALOMOND CAKE BUT IT IS A LITTLE DRY I WANT IT TO BE MORE MOIST BUT I DON'T KNOW THE NAME OF THE TOPPING THAT I CAN MAKE TO POUR OVER IT THAT WILL COMPLIMENT THE FLAVOR

Glaze. I usually make mine with Coconut syrup and confectioner's sugar. I think most folks just use water and confectioner's sugar. I think the coconut syrup adds a nice flavor to it. That's just my thought.

LOL elijahj... You could mix your idea with mine, and make a coconut rum glaze. I bet that would be delicious!

you take water and mix sugar into it. When you cut the cake top layer off to make even....sprinkle this mixture lightly onto top layer...then bottom...continue to ice and decorate. Remember...don't over wet it because it will be "nasty"

frosting? Pour a little bourbon on it too if you want.
