Are there any unique food dishes or items/objects that come originally from NWT?!

I am a former chef and worked on Baffin Island in Iqaluit some time ago, there is not alot imported from the the other person has a point, when I worked for Hotels we got Arctic Char from up north, I have one of the half moon knives they use, I got it while working there, and for the life of me I cannot remember the Inuit name of it, it is not setup for a large scale agricultural or food processing operation in either of the 2 territories as growing seasons are short and 80% of there food is imported from the south.

The Whitefish from Great Slave Lake is known as a regional specialty, and one that you can't get anywhere else.

Many say it is the best fish in the country.
