Answers:
for my guac recipe i use avocados, roma tomatoes, red onion, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and a touch of sour cream.......the lemon juice helps in keeping the guac from turning brown...

as for salsa....i am not a fan of spicy foods so my salsa is more of a fresh garden salsa kind of thing.....i use roma tomatoes, cucumber, red and green peppers, red onion, garlic, cilantro, salt and pepper, a small amount of lemon juice....depending on my mood....sometimes i will add a touch of honey and or some fresh ginger as well.

Go to the grocery store and buy some the tostitos cheese dip is fabulous or get their salsa dip.

mash the avocadoes with the salt and lime juice...then mix in all other ingredients

let sit a few hours in fridge to blend tastes

Fresh quick salsa

5 ripe avocados peeled and pitted-mashed with fork (keep some chunks)
3 limes
Chili powder

Keep the fork mashed avacodos in the bowl you are going to serve the guacomole in
In a food processor add the juice of 3 limes, chili powder to taste (I like a lot)
Salt

and pulse about 3 times

Mix well with avacodos and then add tomatoes. Serve chilled with tortilla chips

foodnetwork.com has some wonderful recipes for those two dips

you can serve rice & beans, other fresh veggies to dip in the sauces...whatever you really want that would go with the theme
