Gordon Ramsay.......surely having your culinary skills questioned by a Brit is nothing really to worry about, they aren't exactly famous for their cuisine of boiled liver and shepherds pie

just because he is from britan doesn't mean he only cooks british food
its like saying Mario Batali from the US only cooks american food.... in actuality, he specializes in italian food

he is considered a fairly accomplished chef, so most chefs would be upset if he questioned their skill, especially on national TV

Joe Cerniglia did not kill himself because of anything Gordon Ramsey said or did. In fact, if you listen to the interviews with Joe's family - he and Ramsey had become friends and kept up emails over the years. Ramsey returned to the restaurant several months ago to congratulate Joe.

The appearance on the show THREE YEARS AGO saved the restaurant and it is now doing much better than it was.

Joe had other problems, and not what Ramsey thought about him. There were many other issues that he did not or could not find resources to help him with. Trying to blame this on any one incident or person is just stupid.

Let Joe rest in peace. Lord, bless him.
