Question: Why do we consider quiche a french food when it was actually originated in Germany?
Quiche was originated in Germany. Every time quiche is served, though, it is considered to be a French dish. Why is that?

for the same reason that chow meain is considered chinese, spaghetti and meatballs is considered italian, french fries are considered french, swedish meatballs considered swedish, The list goes on and on.



The political boundaries that divide France from Germany did not divide the cultures in the region when there was no political boundaries. That is also the reason that some people who think they have only German in their background may have French ancestors , etc. The boundaries are only political - the foods were not restricted by boundaries.
