There websites and I will give you a link to see and print out recipes, I did a Togo party for a friend and used these for the foods, there diet was based on the foods of there region, most ate what they could grow, and with the armies conquering vast country's and civilizations, they have an abundant amount of exotic and foreign ingredients and spice.

The same things Italians eat now: a lot of pork, beef, pasta and peppers, tomatos, spinich, etc.
