Call and make sure they have it.
If you live in a city where there are pockets of hispanic residents, then try a store in one of those areas of high hispanic concentration.
I'm sure Kroger, if they didn't have it, would order it in for you. Call them first and talk to the meat dept.

Some Kroger stores carry it - it depends on what location as it sells in some areas more than others. You would have to ask at the store - it is also possible that they can order some in for you if you need to purchase a lot of it.

But if you just want a small amount, check with an ethnic grocery store in your area. You are more apt to find it in stores catering to Asians, Europeans or Hispanics.

Ring the bell for the butcher and ask. They may or may not carry tripe. It depends on the location of the store and what the demand is.
