Are fiestaware dishes oven safe? or porcelin dishes?
i want to make french onion soup but dont want to buy special dishes. I have some fiesta ware that would be perfect for it, but im afraid it'll blow up in my broiler.

Most porcelain (inlcuding fine china) is also dishwasher (except for china trimmed in gold, platinum, or silver-handwash), microwave (except for china trimmed in gold, platinum, or silver), and oven safe.
If you are unsure and wary of it, then I would look specifically for information regarding your china.
