Answers:
Definitive identification is the key... Even your local county extension service or Department of Natural Resources will be reluctant to provide you with an ID because of the liability involved.

Eating toxic mushrooms could result in debilitating cramps, explosive vomiting and/or diarrhea, nerve damage, or even death. With those sorts of consequences looming over you, I'm sure you can see that it's absolutely imperative to identify the mushrooms correctly.

Many people enjoy harvesting and eating wild mushrooms, but they do it with the benefit of hands-on experience gleaned from another individual. Don't rely on a book, picture, or illustration.

Not unless you wanna get sick. Most likley those are not eatable. Some mushrooms are so hard to tell apart that its best just to stay away from picking wild ones for consumption.

if you want the sh!ts

Why would ya?

Your kidneys will shut down and you will die.

Why don't you just get some from the caterpillar, Alice?

Without a photo and an expert in mushrooms, the simple answer is NO. NEVER eat wild mushrooms unless you can be absolutely be sure they are not poisonous. This is almost impossible since there are alot of mushrooms that look very similar to very poisonous mushrooms that could kill you.
