Question:

What is the best type of crab to eat?

I have only had snow crab but I was wondering what the best tasting crab was.

Answers:
Alaskan King Crab
They are huge and soooo good

those red ones

All of them. They all have a delicious flavor all there own.

Alaskan King Crab is the most prized.

I haven't eaten crabs in the longest. I use to eat the red ones?

Dongeness Crab are the best tasting!

taste depends on the person, however I have eaten almost every type of crab around the world and I have one particular favorite, Florida Stone Crabs. There are other stone crabs so don't be confused. The harvest is only of one claw, the crab has one to eat and defend itself and grows a new one back. ( Environment friendy) look at link I provided these are in a word "heavenly". If you cannot find them they can be purchased online. A distant second is Alaskan King Crab yet they are still delish! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/florida_sto...

The King Crab are delicious! I have had them once before, and they are just wonderful! They are huge, and very good and tender if you cook them right. Melt a little butter, and dip your King Krab in it! Corn is also a good side dish to go with the King Crab if you decide to have it. =]

We only get Alaskan King crab legs. They're huge, and the meat is so tender and just the right amount of sweetness. It just melts in your mouth.
