Im looking for the name of this green vegetable rich in protein that kind of looks like peas....?!
I know that it was cooked and salted. It looks a lot like peas but a bit larger in size.

Edamame - "branch bean" (lit.translation), but we know it as a large soybean.
Cooking: Wash edamame to get off dirt, loose twigs, "hairs" on the pods. Boil some water in a medium saucepan, dump a handful or two of edamame into it (should not be covered by water, more like a "wet" steaming) and shut off the flame, cover with lid, set for a few mins. Drain water and salt lightly before serving.
You can also try nuking some uncook edamame in a deep (non metallic) bowl with an inch of water, heat on hi for a couple mins and might get the same effect as above. Salt and enjoy.
If you can, get the black edamame (might be expensive), which is said to be the best tasting ever.
