I love tomatoes but the tastes of those 3 things are all very different.
I toured a ketchup factory once and one of the workers was like "you know, we don't even need tomatoes to make this sh*t. It's all sugar." =p

as a young teen I ate tomatoes off the vine but soon realized my mouth and throat itched and tried to avoid them raw
but I never HATE much of any food
but several of my extended family have some extreme dislikes to veggies
I believe they should be required before becoming adults to attend a survival school to understand hunger and experiment with the wonderful world of food
unless there is a proven allegery they are spoiled brats

My husband hates the texture of tomatoes and will not eat them or drink tomato juice. When eating salsa he only dips and does not scoop. If spaghetti sauce or chili or anything tomato based has chunks of tomato in it he picks it out. It is weird huh? LOL.

Personally I love tomatoes. However it makes perfect sense that someone could hate them but love sauces made from them because you're adding vinegar, sugars, spices and other vegetable to the tomatoes and the end result is a VERY different flavor.

No they are all pretty damn awesome.

You can't have a great BLT without great tomatoes.
