White rice is so much healthier! The fried rice has so much oil and grease in it, while the white rice is just plain rice. Taste better in my opinion too.
Yes, choose white rice. Most restaurants use the cheapest oil available which is canola. Canola oil is a GMO and toxic product not to mention there may be MSG in the food as it is very popular in Asian cultures. My advice is to eat at Chinese restaurants that serve whole grain brown rice as an option. Of course anything in moderation will probably not harm you and the fried rice will be more emotionally satisfying as we seem as humans, to be hard wired to love fat (as well as sugar). white rice is healthier compared with fried rice because fried rice has more fat / oil and other ingredients in it like chopped up meat and eggs. But brown rice is is healthier than either of those because it not made of refined carbohydrates and it has a lower glycemic index than white rice, which is how they measure of how fast a particular food raises blood glucose levels. I've cooked fried brown rice with some green onions, egg, and beef, throw in some salt and pepper and it tastes just as good, if not better.

By white rice, I assume you mean plain steamed rice as opposed to fried rice. Plain steamed rice is a lot healthier than fried rice which contains a lot of extra ingredients.

Both are white rice but the fried has extra stuff added to it which can make it slightly higher calorie. But I think the taste is better in fried.
white rice has no nutritional value. fried rice is loaded with fat. the best choice would be brown rice and making a healthy version of fried rice for yourself using the brown rice.
