Question: Need some ideas for GERMAN party food!?
Ok so im doing a thing for a school project. We are throwing a german dance and im in charge of the food. so what kind of food would be at a GERMAN school dance/party? Its going to be thrown for Seniors (12th grade). what would be appropriate finger food or sandwhiches that would be served there? Thanks a lot! Danke Sehr!!

You can make 1 Kalte Platte with cheese, 1 with meat, 1 with salad (chicken, Fleischsalat, crabb salad)

Sandwich platters are a great idea. Try to use rye breads and lots of different types of buns (especially whole grain types). These are served open-faced with cheeses, sliced meats such as salami and black forest ham, egg slices, and pickles.

Serve pretzels and mustard dips.

Apfelschorle is an apple juice/spritzer that would be a great drink - it's very common in Germany.

A Black Forest Cake made in a 9 X 12 inch pan would be an easy dessert.
