Lasagna
A classic lasagna full of richly blended cheeses, rich meaty layers, and our rich tomato sauce.

Veal Parmesan
Tender veal, breaded and baked in our own tomato sauce and topped with melted Provolone served with your choice of pasta & house salad.

Chicken Marsala
Chicken breast sauteed in Marsala wine covered with mushrooms. Includes your choice of two sides.

Menu from an Italian restaurant.

Their main meals are often the same as any european meal.
Pasta is usually served before the main course.
A typical dinner would be something like:
Pasta alla amatriciana for a starter (or, maybe a soup), then
steak or roast veal for the main course,
then a salad. Very basic.

I really love veal marsala as an italian main dish.
It is sauteed veal, with asparagus on top (preferably white asparagus), covered with hollandaise sauce.

Io sono italiana e i pasti che abbiamo a casa mia sono:
Pasta e sugo (pasta and tomato sauce)
Pasta al forno,
Cannelloni
Lasagne
Polpette (meatballs)
Cotolette (meat breaded)
insalata di finocchi (fennel Salad)
carciofi :( artichoc)
PARMIGIANA DI MELANZANE (usually in the party or sundey)
PIZZA (ONLY ONCE A WEEK SATURDAY OR SUNDEY IN A PIZZERIA WITH OVEN AT WOOD)
Risotto alla milanese (with saffron of Milan)
DESSERT : tiramisù
cake: Ciambella bicolore

gg seems to have the right idea. There's no such thing as a spaghetti dinner. Pasta is always served by itself BEFORE the main course (il secondo).
