Question: How many of these non-soup Asian noodle dishes could you recognize?
What is the name of the dish and the country of origin? How many of them have you tried? Do you like them?

4)Hiyashi chuka, japanese version of chinese cold raman, orgin Japan
5)BiBim Naeng Myun, korea summer dish, orgin Hamh?ng, north koera
6) Mee Pok Tah, spicy noodle, orgin Singapore
7)Beef Stew Lo Mein, not much to say, orgin it it is soy sause base than Hong Kong, if it is peanut butter base the Fujian, China
8) Zaru Soba, japanese cold soba noodle serve ing dipping sause, orgin Japan



1. 炸酱面 - minced meat noodles (sometimes with bean sauce). Think it's from China? Quite tasty especially with bean sauce.

2. I don't know what that is...
3. Don't know...
4. Don't know...
5. Not sure? kimchi noodles? o.O
6. 面簿 - mee pok (flat noodles). Not sure about country of origin. Usually served with fishballs and pieces of meat (pork / chicken).
7. 叉烧扣肉面 (char siew with pork belly noodles)?
8. Buckwheat noodles, think it's called soba (そば). Sometimes served cold.

Own experiences.



I can only name two for sure because I have had them, and love them!:

#2 Char shiu over chow mein (Chinese)
#8 Soba noodles (Japanese)



Apparently there are lots of Asian noodle recipes left for me to try!

#3 is Vietnamese, so grilled pork or beef.
#8 is Japanese soba noodles
#7 looks like a version of a Chinese bird's nest recipe



Thai pad see eew ( with original flat rice noodle)

I don't recognize any. It all looks like oriental garbage to me.
