Where can I buy mung beans for ?? [songpyeong]?!


Question: Where can I buy mung beans for ?? [songpyeong]?
I plan to go to H-Mart to buy my ingredients, but will they have "dried and skinned" mung beans? The directions I'm following shows a person taking the mung beans out of what seems to be a bag, not a can. It's my first time making these.

Can I get what I'm looking for at H-Mart? If I can, what will it look like?

Aren't you supposed to use sweet red beans for the filling? H mart has son pyeon already made and sold at the rice cake section usually.. why go thru the trouble of making it

I shop at Grand Mart, and their dried mung beans are sold in bags, not cans. I've never seen canned mung beans in an Asian market. Canned sweet red beans and soybeans, but never mung beans.

buy the dried mung beans and sprout them yourself. when you wash the the sprouts, the seed shells come off.
