Beans, grits and jerky.

take some pork ribs, belly pork slices and kebabs (totem poles) lucky you enjoy.

Try taking potato salad or a fruit salad called watergate salad. I'll tell you how to make the delicious refreshing watergate salad. One can of chopped pineapple, chopped walnuts, whip cream, 1-2 boxes of pistacio pudding, minitaure marshmallows, and thats it. Mixx them all together...only use enough pineapple juice to make it moist. Chill and serve cold. Good good good. I'm sure that you know how to make potato salad. Email me if you dont.

baked beans covered with bacon strips and baked till bacon is a little crispy in a big pan like for a roast chicken, cornbread, macaroni or potato salad, (white) or egg salad, or just a big salad with lots of tomatoes, and deviled eggs are always favorites.

For Indian food you can make Buffalo steaks and fried bread. Fried bread is so so so good.

Armadillo Eggs

Ingredients:
Eggs 2 Bisquick mix 1 ? cup
Pork "Shake and Bake" 6 oz package grated, Monterey Jack cheese 1 cup (8oz)
Grated cheddar cheese 1 cup Seeded jalape?os, whole 1 26 oz can
Pork Sausage (Crumbled) ? lbs.

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350o F

Beat the eggs and put aside. Place the pork-coating mix in a small bowl and set aside.

Fry up the sausage and crumble. (Wait till it cools a bit before you crumble it, hot sausage will burn your fingers.)

Mix the cheddar cheese, sausage, and Bisquick together. Using a rolling pin, flatten the mixture until its about ? of an inch thick.

Stuff the Monterey Jack cheese into the jalape?o peppers. Wrap each pepper in the Bisquick mixture. Using your hands, roll each pepper into and egg shape. Dip each armadillo egg into the beaten eggs, then roll in the pork-coating mix.

Arrange the armadillo eggs on a cookie sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until crisp.

Makes 8 tp 10 eggs.

I recommend Owens Sausage.

My family and I have a BBQ Fun Day once a month. We just pick a day. And we invite our whole entire family. My other relatives are in other states. But the ones that are in our area, we invite them. It's a great way to keep the family together.

How about this "Indian" Corn Pudding? It is very easy and so good even at room temperature.

Corn Pudding

1 (15 1/4-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (14 3/4-ounce) can cream-style corn
1 (8-ounce) package corn muffin mix (recommended: Jiffy)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl, stir together the 2 cans of corn, corn muffin mix, sour cream, and melted butter. Pour into a greased 9 by 13-inch casserole dish. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and top with Cheddar. Return to oven for 5 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Let stand for at least 5 minutes and then serve warm.
