Well for a summer cake, this is a huge hit!
Buy a cake mix (any flavor) and bake it in two round pans. When it cools, take one round and frost the top with any type of frosting and then stick the other round ontop of it to make a two layer cake. Frost the side of the cake with chocolate frosting and place kit-kats vertically around the whole thing. Frost the top with blue frosting to create the illusion of water. Place teddy grahms halfway into the frosting to make it looks like they're swimming. On the ground, put dyed green coconut flakes around the base of the cake for grass and put sticks of gum with teddy grahms ontop like beach towels. Use gumballs for beach balls, and mini umbrellas for beach umbrellas. You can make a twizzler ladder so the little bears can escape once they begin to get pruney!
Voila! A pool cake!

Coca-Cola Cake
? 2 cups all-purpose flour
? 2 cups granulated sugar
? 2 eggs
? 3 Tbl cocoa
? 1 cup butter or margarine
? 1/2 cup buttermilk
? 1 cup Coca-Cola?
? 1 tsp baking soda
? 1 tsp vanilla extract
? 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a 9x13” baking pan. ? Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. ? Heat butter, cocoa and Coca-Cola? to boil and pour over the flour mixture. Mix well. Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla extract and marshmallows and blend. The batter will be thin with marshmallows floating on top. Bake for 45 minutes.
Frosting:
? 1/2 cup butter or margarine
? 3 Tbl cocoa
? 6 Tbl Coca-Cola?
? 1 box confectioners’ sugar
? 1 tsp vanilla extract
Boil butter, cocoa and Coca-Cola?. Remove from heat and blend in sugar and vanilla extract. Spread on warm cake.
I have made ice cream cakes for yrs for all the kids b days in family including mine .You take two cake pans rect.rd.sq etc. bake two cakes same size two layer.Another cake pan same put ice cream in this one soften spread in pan.Oil and flour pans good before cake mix before bake so cake comes out easy. Then put the layer of cake bottom .Then ice cream layer top other layer of cake then frost . easier if you cook cakes freeze, soften ice cream, pan it freeze it. Day of, layer then frost after cake defrostes about half hour then take out ice cream layer defrost till you can getout of pan put hot water in sink put pan of ice cream in till sides warmed so can get out upside down I've also made with french vanilla ice cream and " " cake cool whip put fresh stawberries on top whole cut tops of put top down side by side on top of the cool whip awsome for summer good luck
