Jack Daniels - BLUE?!

Question:

Jack Daniels - BLUE?

My sister SEARS that Jack Daniels makes a Blue label scotch but I've been investigating for a while (I even called jack daniels and they denied) but she still doesnt believe me (her husband is a big Jack fan). Since this is such a huge community, I'm wondering anyone else has heard this? I know Johnnie Walker makes a blue. Thanks.

Answers:
I think she is talking about Johnnie Walker, they make

1. Red

2. Black

3. Green

4. Gold

5. Blue - Cost about $175.

I hear theres a Johnnie Walker White out there, that was made years age.

But there is a Jack Daniels Blue. It's a Billard Chalk which can be bought on Ebay. For $8.95

Theres also a drink called:

Good Night Special or Jack Daniels Blue.

1 1/2 oz. Gin
1 1/2 oz. Blue Curacao
1 oz Jack Daniels

After 30 Min of drinking it, it might be a good night.

Also most of JD products such ar hats, shirts, etc... are blue

Hope this helps

Never heard of a Jack daniels blue label. She might be getting mixed up with Johnnie Walker. You cant beat a bit of the regular Jack Daniels though, makes me want to throw things but still its good.

Jack Daniels is American Whiskey not Scotch. Your sister is thinking of Johnnie Walker Scotch;

Well they say its an equivalent to a Blue Label, but its not blue label. It's called Jack Daniels "Single Barrel," which comes from a single barrel of whiskey chosen by the Master Distiller. It has a little bite, but it's way smoother than shooting regular Jack. It's not as smooth as Johnny Walker's Blue Label. If you do get it, put it in a rock glass with a bit of water to mellow it.

There is also "Gentleman Jack," which is just a little bit better than regular Jack.. It has a sweeter taste.. good for sipping on the rocks.

You can actually purchase a package of Jack Daniels, JD Single Barrel, and JD Gentleman Jack from your local BJs for roughly $75 US, I believe. If you don't have BJs, try COSCO, Wal-Wart, or Sam's Club.

Johnnie Walker make in order of worst to best (by my tastes) a Red Label, a Gold Label, a Green Label (which was only available in Japan, but its now all over the world), a Black Label, and a Blue Label. If you are shooting for one of these, buy either the Black or Blue.. the Black can be neat or a splash of water.. the Blue taken only neat.

SCOTCH ....Jack Daniels is not a Scotch......American Whiskey is never Scotch........your sister is confused.
.

Jack Daniels comes in a green label which is aged the longest, Johnnie walker has a blue label???? Is that what you meant.

She's wrong. The only "blue label" is the Johnnie Walker
