Lactose Intolerant VS Yogurt?!

Question:

Lactose Intolerant VS Yogurt?

I have been told people who are lactose Intolerant can still eat yogurt... Is this true?

Answers:
This is true to some extent. Yogurt is cultured so the bacteria in the yogurt can help break down the lactose in the milk, which causes the intolerance. I would still recommend taking some sort of lactaid supplement when eating dairy products just to be safe.

I used to be, and I couldn't eat yogurt...I'm over that and can now eat it, though...

It has never bothered me, but I don't eat it that often.
