A lot of Asian people move to live in Australia....therefore, they influence the culture since they ARE a part of the Australian culture and there is a high demand for Asian-like dishes similar to the ones found back in their homeland of Asia
Hmm, in my opinion I don't think that it has as much "influence" per se as it would in a manner that "co-exists" with traditional Australian cuisine. My reasoning is this...I think that since Hong Kong was a colony of Britian, then it would stand to reason that you could find quite a bit of Chinese food in and around all parts of Australian as well since Australia was colonized by the Brits as well as a former penal colony. Also, I believe that the larger cities like Queensland, Melbourne & Sydney would probably have a nice sized Chinese community much like any other large city in the world.
