Best way to store a cheesecake for two days?
I have a chocolate cheesecake that I just finished baking in my kitchen and was just going to toss it in the fridge until Saturday when I need it for a BBQ Im going to. I figured I would come here to see if there was a good way to preserve a cheesecake for two days?
In case it makes a difference the main wild card ingredients in the cake are cream cheese and Godiva chocolate liqure.

Thanks for all the good advice, I think the fridge makes sense too. I dont bake often and when I do its normally out in the woods with a dutch oven so this whole in door baking thing is foreign to me lol.
Oh and ViVI I am crossing my fingers that I dont get the hungry horrors and eat that thing, luckily I am super busy until the BBQ and besides I left myself a generous portion of Godiva cholcolate liqure in the bottle!

2 days isn't that long. The fridge will be fine, but make sure you let it cool completely!! and loosen it from the spring form before chilling. Also, cover it with wax paper or a towel to let it breath. Condensation will make it soggy
fridge.
Cheese cakes freeze really well. If I make if ahead of time I freeze them Pull it out right before you leave and by the time dessert comes its still cold.
I'll hold it for you...in my belly! Yummers!
Seriously the fridge.
let a fat chick eat it, in 2 days not only will she will give it back, but give you back chocolate cheesecake.
Cover with cling film and refrigerate. But I must ask, are you really serious that it won't get eaten in that time?
sounds delicious. when i make cherry cheesecake i leave it in the pan and cover it with foil. it lasts 4 days with no problems. (by that time it's gone) let it cool before you put it in the fridge.
