My strategy to eating what I love (AKA the bad stuff) is that I have to work out regularly in order to do so. Granted it's still unhealthy to binge myself on cookies and Nutella, working out at least helps maintain some fitness to counteract my eating habits. What kind of junk food do you like? If you enjoy chips or sweets, go to the asian food market or a natural food mart and by natural fruit or veggy chips or other healthy, natural snacks to keep around the house.

I've never heard of spicy food being bad for you. I recommend eating lots of spicy foods since it's been shown to boost the metabolism! Plus you drink more water!

Walk a lot.

Do some exercise. Not just for losing weight, but also to help you feel calm and help you make better choices.

When you aren't really hungry, try not to eat. Drink some water or have coffee or tea and do some deep breathing and try to think about something else. Keep yourself busy.

When you are truly hungry and want to eat, don't give up your favorite foods. Just try to cut back a little bit on the bad junk and add some vegetables and fruit (even if you have to fix them yourself). Make a salad or eat an apple or cut up some raw veggies or cook them. Just replace some of your junk food with healthier food and you will feel better.
