1000 Island for me, too, on a nice quarter wedge of lettuce---YUM!
Thousand Island was my fav too as a kid...now I like Blue Cheese the best.

Mine was French and now I can't even really eat it anymore!
I used to love green godess dressing, now I just do not like it.
Now I love catalina dressing.
The only dressing I grew up with was Dorothy Lynch. I don't even know if it's made anymore. Catalina is close. But frankly, I don't care if I ever have it again. Every salad had Dorothy Lynch.
Kids eat salad? J/K I always liked ranch or french.

Kraft mayonnaise salt, pepper, sliced lettuce, and ripe homegrown tomatoes......Pure Southern Eating!!! It was good then and it 's good now!

My mom and dad used to make dressing from:
1 cup Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
a little shake of salt and pepper.
I still love it!!!

Italian- my Grandpa's. (who's deceased) It was Good seasons Packet dressing with the oil and water and a tsp or so of regular sugar.. To die for.. Still make it! Has to be in the cruet though.
