Its called Riesling.. and is a white wine.Nothing else. It can be sweet or very dry.
Therfore you can use anything you would serve with white wine.. pork, veal, chicken, fish. Since its very aromatic, dont use spicy dishes or you kill it

If its sweet.. you can have it with a cake, something which is called Guggelhupf

( I am from the southern part of Germany)

Just about everything. Reisling is a Rhine wine. Comes in Red, White, pink/rose. It ranges from dry to sweet. And is paired with many different food dishes, from meat to fish to chicken, duck, turkey, etc. Delicious.

Hi,
I contribute to the former answers that the german wine is not reisling but riesling

BEER
