Cut the amount to 1 - 2 teaspoons of powder (taste to determine the correct heat level). The difference between wet and dry ingredients shouldn't have much of an impact.

You can use the powder to season your dish. Season and taste little by little to your liking, always taste when you season. There is a big difference between powder and puree. Powder flavorings is usually a lot more potent. Purees and pastes maybe less concentrated (taste-wise) however has a big impact on the dish's moisture and consistency. If you need to add moisture to your dish you can use stocks or water to add moisture.
