Ground beef.Is it still ok to use?!

Question:

Ground beef.Is it still ok to use?

I bought a package of ground beef on monday and its been in the fridge since. The sticker says sell by Jun 10 it has turned to a brownish gray color.I havent opened it yet.
Can I still use it?
Should I just toss it?

Answers:
your call but think about this, meat is aged all the time and sell by dates are always earlier than necessary to protect the seller. Since it was refrigerated the whole time I think you would be safe. I would cook it really well on a hi or med-hi heat and mix it into something like a casserole.

raised on home-grown meat. We aged wild game for up to 15 days in a cool (not cold) storage room.

no

toss it

The iron in beef turn it into brownish, make sure it is well cooked through and through. Toss it if you aren't going to use it quickly.

if you bought it monday that was jun 11...so the store shouldnt have sold it to you...

that being said, i have been told taht as long as the meat is still pink in middle that it is safe to eat...

Personally, I would use it. As long as it is today.
