How do I take the skin off a peach?!

Question:

How do I take the skin off a peach?

Answers:
put it in hot water, then put it in ice cold water and then rub off the skin with a towel.

i saw it on food network..haha on Good Eats with Alton Brown

Have you tried using a potato peeler? they pretty much work for everything, just make sure you peel the peaches when they are ripe and firm.

Drop it in boiling water or peel it with a knife like a apple

peal it or just eat it i dont care

i actually hear that you can blanch peaches.... score your peach on the bottom (meaing to slit it like an inch on the bottom but not to far deep)...take boiling water, place your peach in it for a couple of second, till you see the score part peel back a little.... take it out and immedietaly place in ice water....once cooled, remove immediately (so tha it does not absorb the water)....peel the skin offf :)

you take the skin off

You'll love this. Bring a pot of water to boil. Once water is boiling drop your peach in for about one minutes. Using a large slotted spoon to dip the peach out of the water and place in a bowl of ice and cold water. You can do several peaches at one. Once they are all in the ice water simply slip the skins off. I just pick a piece and peel. Some people wipe with a paper towel. If it is not peeling easy just drop back into the hot water for another 30 seconds.
