In your household, who decides what's for dinner, you or your mate?!

Question:

In your household, who decides what's for dinner, you or your mate?

I let him choose because I'm not fussy and I know he'll like it and not complain.

Answers:
It's equal opportunity around here. Either I know in the morning, or I call him and ask what he wants because my brain is fried and can't think of anything. I called him the other day and said I could only come up with Hamburger Helper, and he said "How about your corn chowder?" Sold. It's just give and take. I never turn down a good idea.

you should share your opinions or have both!

Whoever is willing to cook gets to decide what's for dinner!

me because i have to feed the kids. if they don't like what I make though, then they have to make their own dinner.

I choose what we eat and how much we eat since I do all the cooking. I have the philosophy of if you don't like it, you don't eat.

In my house who ever is cooking is the decision maker. Its only fair.... If my husband wants somethin speacial than he can help lift a hand.

I have to but I wish he would suggest something sometimes

In my family we my parents bascially always let me choose since i'm the child.

I do, but I am home first so I do the cooking. If asked to cook something I usually do it. I do not mind cooking ,I hate decided all the time.

I choose when I cook because he doesn't get home until late. When he cooks he will either pick, or ask me what I want. Usually I pick our meals.

me and my gf take turns

I live with 2 guys, so we all get to cook dinner one night during the week, then the 2 other week nights i cook them dinner, (whatever is easy) then on the weekend, we all just do whatever, cause we are hardly ever home!

I cook / I decide. I try to ask sometimes what he wants, to which he ALWAYS replies, "I don't care".

In my household we take turns making dinner we cook every other day. So Monday, Wednesday, Friday, he has Tuesday Thursday, Saturday and Sunday we either eat out or collaberate on dinner. On our days we choose what we are cooking, it's only fair If i'm doin the cooking I'm cooking what I want to eat same goes for him.
