Traditional Chinese food is food made using what they could grow locally. Rice, vegetables and fruit grow throughout China. The meat and fish is what they could find and then raise.
Chinese food is often cut into small pieces, this is so that the food would cook quickly allowing time to be saved with precious oil/firewood.
Noodles became a staple of their diet, as these also cook quickly.
Some foods are eaten here like dogs/rats/cockroaches/spiders that seems very odd to other people. During times of starvation the people had to eat anything and everything they could...and the foods just became normal.
I live in China
Chinese cuisine was shaped by the unique social structure of China, where social class and religion dictated what a person could eat. During Buddhist dynasties, vegetarianism was encouraged, not so much during Confucian dynasties. Beef was seen as a sacred animal, representative of the Buddha, the emperor ate beef exclusively. Meat products where expensive, so soups and broths were developed to take advantage of all parts of the animal.
Chucky Cheese invented Chinese food back in the 1800's then he invented a pizza palace. He use to be enemies with the villain Avoid the Noid. Noid fled to the USA to steal pizzas from dominoes pizza and has not been seen since the 1990's. Chucky Cheese has a Chinese chain of Chucky China Chin's Cheese. Some say that Chucky Cheese is over 300 years old and the real Chucky Cheese can be found in Alabama today.
