Quick Question?!

Question:

Quick Question?

After cornbread is made, does it have to be refrigerated or can it sit out (covered).

Thanks :)

Answers:
You can leave the cornbread out. You can also freeze it for a later use like making cornbread stuffing.

I've left mine out overnight because the family usually eats any leftover for breakfast.

I always leave it out with no problem.
the eggs are cooked so its safe.

it can sit out covered....i belive as long as it's dry.

if it's a wet cornbread recipe like, cornbread souffle...than no.

I refrigerate it

it can sit out. It's never around long enough to get stale or go bad. You can even freeze it to eat later.

Leave it out and then when you need a quick snack...crumble it into a tall glass of milk! Reminds me of my granny's house!

It depends how long before you'll eat it. If you make it in the evening and you plan to eat it the next morning, it should be fine to leave it out. Otherwise, it's best to put it in the refrigerator. =]
